Nebraska Panhandle Student Uses Restroom for First Time

“18 years of pissing outside is a wonderful way to grow up,” Curtis Gorbit said.

Gorbit was raised on a farm in Chadron, Nebraska, where his piss was allowed “virtually anywhere.” He recently began the transition to using the restrooms on East Campus.

“Little Curtis was meant to be free,” Gorbit said. “Now the only free time he gets is in a man-made box.”

Gorbit said he believes God made the outdoors to piss in.

“When I pee outside the dirt just sucks it right up,” he continued. “That’s the way God wants it.”

“Yeah, mom would get mad when I peed on her pansies, but she put them outside and that’s where I piss,” Gorbit said.

The beginning of his transition was difficult. His roommate, John Dasio, said Gorbit would urinate out of the window of their dorm room during their first week on campus.

“We live on the fourth floor, and he would just piss all over the sidewalks down below,” Dasio said.

The DailyER mentioned that Gorbit was from Chadron.

“That explains a lot,” Dasio said.

Regardless of whether or not Gorbit will transition to full-time use of restrooms, the police have been warned to look out for him. Gorbit’s actions led to a crackdown on outdoor urination by University Police.
