“This is an affront to our freedoms,” Cries out sophomore mechanical engineering major Kelly Raydenburg. She is protesting the fact that in Lincoln, and many other places in the United States, there is the need for an ‘age passport’ to get beverages containing alcohol. This has outraged countless college students across the nation and has led to the formation of the Platform for Independence of Student’s Swallowing (PISS). 

“So America is the land of the free right? But then for me to get absolutely shitfaced on a Wednesday night I need to pay them to give me an age passport? I don’t see how those are compatible thoughts.” Says Raydenburg. Currently, the UNL chapter of PISS is trying to petition the state government to remove the age passport requirement.
