Many bands can benefit from making multiple performances in the same state and building a fan base there. The same can be said for NEEDTOBREATHE’s performance at the Bourbon, as the place was all around packed.

NEEDTOBREATHE is a veteran band from the state of South Carolina. This is their fourth time playing in Nebraska and second time playing at the Bourbon, so the crowd and band had a comfortable atmosphere towards each other. The band started the show by playing songs from their newest album The Reckoning, with an upbeat sound and catchy guitar riffs. The first quarter of the show was a giant dance party. The band then went through songs from previous albums like The Outsiders and Daylight.

The band used this performance as a way to connect with their fans in a more personal way. They are more used to performing in larger venues but prefer the more intimate venues where they see their fans. NEEDTOBREATHE used this time to break an acoustic set to bring the crowd together.

Throughout the performance, you can tell that the men in NEEDTOBREATHE are very humble and passionate people, wanting to share their music to whoever wants to hear it. The band is blessed with incredible vocals and a southern attitude. When they ever come back to Nebraska, you should check them out.
