1. Skip the review day

Let’s be honest, the only students showing up to a review day are the ones who already know everything. Instead, use class time to catch up on sleep; you’re going to need to be well rested for this test!

2. Find your perfect study spot

Having a perfect place to study is nothing to take for granted! Be sure you are warm, comfortable, and have plenty of snacks and drinks nearby! It’s best to study in your bed and under a blanket for maximum comfort.

3. Take frequent breaks

The key to retention is taking frequent breaks while you work-especially while working on a report. Remember, your name and course title are basically a paragraph; don’t cheat yourself!

4. Study with friends

Study groups are a great way to study for a final. Try to find a loud coffee shop downtown with tables big enough for at most two people (it will be someone’s favorite). Better yet, grab a few drinks and invite your group back to your place; after all, you’re the one with the largest TV.

5. Review the syllabus

Break out that scientific calculator from high school and bring up the syllabus; you’re going to need to know just how low you can score to get through this class. Don’t forget these two tips: a) ACE requirements only need a D, and b) Cs get degrees.

6. Amphetamines

No description needed.

7. Use highlighters

You don’t need to know everything that’s in the book so get a few different colored highlighters and just go crazy. The person who has your book next will thank you. If you get overwhelmed just throw a few in a bag and start huffing.
