Son Kills Mother, Chances Of Rekindling Relationship With Mother

Police arrived late on the scene of a murder late Sunday night. Jerry Plaza, 33, reportedly killed the chances of rekindling his relationship with his mother. The estranged son murdered Mildred Plaza, 59, earlier that evening.

Jerry Plaza had not returned Mildred’s phone calls in over three months. He had also neglected to comment on the hilarious forwarded emails from Mildred.

“Ever since Jerry has been seeing that atheist girl, he’s been up to no good,” said next-door neighbor Evelyn Jacobs, 64. Jacobs evidently was Mildred Plaza’s confidant, being in the same quilting and book club.

“I think he hasn’t been going to church,” Evelyn added while ashing her cigarette out on the yellow crime scene tape.

Police are taking all of these motives into account: the unreturned phone calls, the unappreciated chain emails, and missing mass on the holiest of days of the week.

Mildred Plaza was reportedly making a pot roast for Jerry when the incident occurred. Jerry Plaza and the pot roast have been taken into custody for questioning.
